12 proposed transportation projects to get nearly $7M

CONCORD, N.H. (AP) — The New Hampshire Transportation Department has proposed nearly $7 million in funding for 12 pedestrian, bicycle and rail trail projects.

The projects would get money from the Transportation Alternatives Program. They are subject to approval from the Governor and Executive Council and require a 20 percent local match in funding.

The projects include sidewalks in Littleton and the University of New Hampshire, a multi-use path along the Androscoggin River in Berlin, a rail trail in Manchester, and pedestrian improvements in Somersworth and Hinsdale....
